Train Information
There are several direct trains from Castleford to Leeds which takes about 20 minutes. Castleford train station is literally 2 minutes walk from the Church, and Leeds station is 5 minutes walk away from the Marriott.

Parking Information
Church
Parking outside the church is Pay & Display (about 60p per hour) and slightly limited. There is a nearby supermarket free carpark (though officially, we can't advocate you parking there!). We do recommend car-sharing as much as possible to reduce cost and space needed.
Hotel
In the next few weeks, we will drive the route from Castleford and give you the clearest instructions we can - hopefully this will ensure you don't get lost in the abyss that is Leeds City Centre one-way system...

As there is no hotel car-park, we recommend that you park in the secure Boar Lane NCP car park, just across the courtyard from the Marriott (exit on Level 1a!). The maximum charge for 24 hours is £12. Those arriving after 5pm will benefit from reduced rates (just £4 until 10am next morning). Overnight guests staying at the hotel will also receive a discount.

If you don't want to walk, Valet parking is available from The Marriott. Details to follow!
There are a number of other nearby car-parks in the area, including Q-Park (Criterion Place) where the maximum cost is £12 for 24 hours. However, please avoid the open air Queen's Car Park, as this closes at 8pm.
NB. Our wedding is the first Saturday after Christmas and parking could be tricky in the afternoon (think sales shopping...), we are considering having a free coach to transport our Day time guests, which will be departing from The Marriott to the Church and back again. This would enable you to park up before the crowds start and then just enjoy the day, without fighting for a space.
If you would be interested, please let us know, preferably when you RSVP, clearly indicating the number of seats that would be required and whether you would be travelling the full journey, or just the return leg after the ceremony (though priority will be given to those travelling the full distance).
